4. It’s very difficult to be a Haute Couture designer. In order to become one, you have to be approved by the Chamber of Syndicale, the governing body of fashion in Paris. There are only 14 fashion houses that have been approved. Surprisingly, Giorgio Armani isn’t actually one of them!
