When you’re a teenager you’re more receptive to change. That’s when most us start to figure out what we like and what we don’t like. It’s also the time when we develop some of our worst habits. That’s why it’s good to think seriously about slowly doing certain things for your health and appearance that go a long way like:

  • Shower twice a day
  • Use more moisturizer
  • Drink more water

It sounds like what our moms always tell us: ‘Eat your veggies, sleep at a decent time and don’t slouch!’ and of course they’re right. In the long term, all of those basic habits can improve our lives by a lot. Beauty tips are another example of things that nobody really tells us about unless we go out of our way to read about them.

It’s the best anti-aging technique out there.

Know when to toss old makeup and old beauty products. News flash! Beauty products have an expiration date. The best case scenario if you keep using something months after you bought is that the product doesn’t work. But the worst case scenario means infections and irritated skin. Cut out these harmful things from your diet for some dramatic improvement: cigarettes, alcohol, caffeine and sugar.
