‘Two and a Half Men’ is one of the most successful sitcoms of all time. It had an incredibly strong supporting cast that made the show what it was. People will always remember:
Arguably the strongest supporting character and voice of reason, was fan favorite Berta who was Charlie’s housekeeper.
Berta is played by Conchata Ferrell who has had an acting career that spans 4 decades! Most people who watched her in ‘Two and A Half Men’ know her from earlier roles she was in.
Conchata Ferrell was born in Charleston, West Virginia. She went to West Virginia University where she received a degree in social studies in education.
She got her start in acting with the Circle Repertory Company appearing in the original Broadway cast of Lanford Wilson’s ‘The Hot L Baltimore.’
Her breakout role was in the 1979 feature film ‘Heartland’ where she was in the starring role as a housekeeper.
She also starred alongside Lili Taylor, Annabeth Gish, and Julia Roberts as the tough owner of a pizzeria in ‘Mystic Pizza.’
