5/ It’s hard to surprise or get one over on The Deadman. For the odd wrestler that does manage it, they're only in for a world of hurt when he gets revenge. This is what happened to Maven at the 2002 'Royal Rumble'. He managed to eliminate The Deadman from the match when he kicked him from behind. In turn, The Deadman delivered one of his most brutal beatdowns ever with Mavens blood ending up all over the arena.
6/ If The Undertaker can’t get to you, he will get to the people you love. In the months leading up to 'WrestleMania X8' 2002, the Taker had a bone to pick with Ric Flair. Flair didn't want any part of it as he was focused on being a co-owner of the company. This offended ‘Taker and so he went after Flair’s friends and family to get his message across. He went after his best friend and fellow Horsemen, Arn Anderson. Things got really personal though when he showed up to the WWE development centre where Ric Flairs son David Flair was training. He gave The Nature Boy’s son a huge beatdown, and warned Ric his daughter would be next if he didn't wrestle him.
7/ This was during the Ministry of Darkness era. The Minister of Darkness and his henchmen went after Stone Cold Steve Austin on an episode of 'Raw' in 1999. They pulled him out onto the entrance ramp and then proceeded to strap him to an Undertaker symbol that was set up in a way that would seemingly crucify Steve Austin. Stone Cold was strapped to the big symbol and raised up above the stage. With Undertaker standing in front of a struggling and tied up Stone Cold, it was one of the most iconic moments the WWE has ever had.
8/ 1999 saw the height of the one of the most epic feuds in the WWE, between The Ministry of Darkness and Vince McMahon's Corporation. During an episode of 'Raw' with Vince McMahon sitting ringside watching the 'Taker wrestle his brother Kane, something very unusual happened. Paul Bearer delivered a box to McMahon who opened it to find a teddy bear from his childhood in the box. The 'Taker proceeded to set Kane on fire and then to rip the teddy bear from Vince McMahon and set the innocent toy on fire. It was a particularly brutal gesture from the Deadman, and fans got to see a softer side of McMahon.
