Dave Chappelle hosted 'Saturday Night Live' on November 12--the first episode after the election of Donald Trump. The now President-elect, who has been the main target of SNL’s ire for nearly a year, was at the forefront of many of the shows sketches.

Chapelle came out to extended cheers from the audience and acknowledged ‘it’s been a long time.’ He also lamented America’s election of an ‘internet troll’ for president, saying he didn’t know America would elect Trump.

'The Walking Dead' got a decent ribbing, as well, with Chappelle playing the role of Negan in a recreation of the season premiere's most gruesome moment.

'Bubble-gu, bubble gum in a dish,' he said, mocking Negan's propensity to recite children's nursery rhymes. 'How many pieces do you with?'
