Oh my god what are they putting in the water in Russia. Fisherman Roman Fedortsov is pulling some of the most nightmarish-looking creatures in the world out of the deep ocean near Murmansk. They’re like movie monsters if horror movies were made solely by H.P. Lovecraft. Here is a list of things I’ll never do after looking at these pictures:

  • Go in the ocean
  • Sleep

I can just imagine producers in hollywood right now licking their lips thinking of all the money they’ll make off children’s nightmares after introducing them to a few of these. The fisherman happily tweets out photos of all the weird things he catches, holding these horrors in his hand calmly.

2. It’s like a cross between a hippo, a snake, and a xenomorph. Without translation, I can bet the Russian says ‘RIPLEY!!!’. (Google translate tells me it actually means ‘weekend’, which is even more terrifying).

4. Ok. I’m convinced I’ve seen this one in a John Carpenter movie once. They couldn’t have dried off that slime before burning this image into my mind?
