That’s precisely what happened to one 42 year-old man. When he began to notice an unusual squiggly pattern forming on his foot, he thought at first that they were just varicose veins forming, a generally minor condition that occurs when veins in the legs become swollen and twisted.

At first, he wasn’t too worried about this but when his feet wouldn’t stop itching, he knew something had to be wrong so he went to the doctor to have them looked at and what the doctor told him may severely creep you out. As it turns out, they weren’t varicose veins at all.

The unnamed man is reportedly from Beijing, China and says he noticed the condition after he returned home from vacationing in Nigeria. He says he became particularly alarmed when he noticed the lines migrating across his foot.
