5/ Another product that is slightly outside of the wrestling world, is a fishing rod. To be specific, the Shakespeare Ugly Stick Lite fishing rod. The reason the brand sought out Hulk, other than his obvious popularity, was that they wanted him to advertise how strong their rods are. Who better to do that than the man who once said he had the biggest arms in the world?
6/ In 1989, Hulk Hogan appeared in his first ad for Right Guard, in a somewhat strange commercial. It makes sense to get an athlete to represent your deodorant, because let’s be real they sweat a lot. The brand chose to have the Hulk sitting at an easel painting something, presumably to show he is a man of many talents.
7/ Hogan got so popular at the height of his career, that brands and products usually associated with athletes from different sports started to come knocking at his door. For example, the FootJoy Extra Light Shoes. Normally a tennis player would probably be asked to endorse a shoe such as this, but instead Hulk Hogan got it.
8/ Most recently, in 2016, the Hulk became the face of 800-Loan-Mart and appeared in a number of commercials for them, both on television and on the radio. Nothing like having the Hulk telling you that you and your money deserves a second chance.
