‘Malcolm in the Middle’ was a sitcom that premiered in 2000. The comedic series created by Linwood Boomer ran for six years with seven seasons. It was extremely successful, winning several Emmy Awards, one Grammy Award, and a total of seven Golden Globe nominations as well as a Peabody Award.

It centered around a family of six, specifically middle son Malcolm who was played by Frankie Muniz. Malcolm has 3 brothers and, later in the series, also gets a baby sister. The show was hilarious and a far cry from portraying a ‘perfect’ family which made it refreshing. It showed all the struggles and love.
