Vitaly, on holiday in Bali, decides to throw a treat to a huge orangutan sitting peacefully across a small creak from the visitor pathway. As he beckons for the great ape to throw something back at him, people laugh and pay him no mind. But when the animal picks up a melon rind and holds it over his head, everyone starts to pay attention.

As the other tourists back away frightened, Vitaly extends his hand and again asks for the treat. The ape then throws the rind over to him perfectly, basically dropping it into his hands. The crowd breaks into disbelieving laughter, amazed at what they just saw as Vitaly yells ‘thank you!’ and pretends to eat it.

When the man throws it back, the orangutan casually catches it and looks around at the crowd before throwing it back again. He’s done with it, why shouldn’t he throw it to him? This time it’s more of a no-look pass though and it goes wide. The ape keeps his calm demeanor throughout, as if this is a daily routine.
