We have seen some really funny and strange things courtesy of Facebook Live. It has also been a platform for some really tragic and shocking events as well. In the summer of 2016, Philando Castile was an unarmed African-American who was shot by police during a traffic stop. His girlfriend live-streamed the tragic event on Facebook.

Another tragic event has gone viral because it was live-streamed on Facebook, but this time the live stream was turned on for much more innocent reasons. Keiana Herndon is a 25-year-old mother who was live streaming on December 28th, 2016.

She intended to a sing a song to people who were following her Facebook while her young child was by her side. The unthinkable happened when she began to struggle with speaking and shook simultaneously. She wiped the sweat from her face when her phone then dropped to the floor.

The live stream was still running at this point, and the young mother could be heard by horrified listeners gasping for air and choking. Her one-year-old son, Rylee, could be heard screaming as his mother struggled for her life.
