UFC Fighter Paige VanZant Rumored To Have Huge Match At WrestleMania

There may be another UFC-WWE crossover at WrestleMania this year, and it’s a doozy. When Sasha Banks lost to Charlotte at Roadblock in a bloody, 30-minute iron-man match, it likely ended the feud between the two for a while. While Charlotte is now busy with Bayley and defending the RAW title, Banks is in need of another mark that can come close to her star power.

While nothing has been officially announced, rumors have been swirling that Banks is indeed booked for a huge match at WrestleMania, and it likely won’t be against Nia Jax, a rival that probably won’t last more than a few weeks. Jax just doesn’t have the star power for the biggest event in sports entertainment, but the UFC just might.

Long rumored to be after Ronda Rousey for the April 2nd event, fans have now turned their attention to Paige VanZant, a UFC star and former 'Dancing with the Stars' runner-up. VanZant has publicly stated multiple times that she’d like to fight in the WWE one day, mentioning The Rock as a perfect match (yeah, maybe not).

After being part of the main event at UFC on Fox 22 (where she was defeated in the first round by a rear naked choke), she’s out of title contention for the foreseeable future. That could mean she has time to dedicate herself to at least one appearance for the WWE, with WrestleMania being the obvious choice.
