The Hollis family lives in Central Illinois. They have 4 kids--two boys and two little girls with Down Syndrome. One morning they woke up to find their house and car spray painted with the message: ‘Retards. Get Outta Here.’

‘That day my life changed forever,’ Anna Hollis, the mother, told YouTube channel 'Everyone Matters'. And though it was hard for them to deal with the fact that people can be that cruel, the family decided to turn the horrible experience into a positive one.

The two brothers asked for their parent’s permission to make a video to stand up for their sisters. In doing so, they explain all the things the two girls can and can’t do to educate others.

For instance, contrary to popular belief, they’re not always happy. ‘Don't believe us? Then you take away Meg’s IPAD and see how she REACTS!’ the boys wrote on a card shown in the video.
