But what if your snowboard had a bit of extra help to get it moving? So much so that you would not even need the downhill acceleration to stay moving. The team behind the YouTube channel ‘the Hacksmith’ created a snowboard that would do just that.

James Hobson, aka The Hacksmith, was inspired by movies like ‘Agent Cody Banks’ and ‘Treasure Planet’ to create a snowboard that had jet engines. Of course, the snowboard that James ended up putting together can’t fly like it did in ‘Treasure Planet’, but it's still pretty epic.

He strapped two compact jet turbine engines onto a snowboard, and the results are pretty impressive. This video will get anyone excited, not just snowboard enthusiasts. Hobson simply bought the jet turbine engines online, which anyone can do. He is quite the handyman, seeing as his YouTube channel is dedicated to making things we see in movies come to life, so he has had a lot of practice.
