Teenager Seemed To Vanish Out Of Thin Air In 2011, Cops Recently Called Her Parents To Say They Found Her

Rachel Natacha Williams, a North Carolina woman who disappeared as a teen in 2011, was recently found alive and safe living under a fake identity, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.

She was 15-years-old when she was last seen getting off a school bus and into a car near her high school in Boiling Spring Lakes. Police had no other clue of her whereabouts until 2014, when they received information that she may be in the Ohio area.

But before going there, they decided to go to Mexico, as Rachel had written a story before disappearing in which she expressed a desire to go to the country. Her friends also confirmed that she had always wanted to travel there.

When the FBI finally made it to Ohio, they found Rachel under a different identity. Turns out she hadn’t been kidnapped but had left and remained away on her own will. They also said she ‘went to great lengths to intentionally conceal her whereabouts.’
