Marcia Biggs and Millie Biggs are twins, but you wouldn’t have known just by looking at them. The pair were born in July of 2006 and their parents say they looked identical when they were first born. Now, more than 11 years later, their differences are much more obvious. The two girls are a million-to-one twin miracle. Millie is dark skinned whereas Marcia is white with blonde hair.
Their mom, Amanda, has even had to warn the secondary school where they are starting at that the two girls really are twins!
The biological twins are a very rare combination of a black and a white sister.
The girls’ dad, Michael, is of Jamaican origin whereas the mother is of a lighter complexion with golden brown hair.
The parents admit that they are regularly stopped on the street and asked if the pair are truly related. They say it is not uncommon for passersby to do ‘double-takes.’
In an interview, Amanda said: ‘I’d be picking them up after school, and the other parents would stop me and say: ‘are they your daughters?’’
‘When I told that them that they were twins, they would always be stunned. I notice a lot of people doing double-takes.’
