Who is Brad Pitt dating? It’s the question everyone wants to know but no one can figure out. Now reports are saying not only is the actor still single but apparently, he’s looking. So Brad Pitt fans, if a guy who looks eerily similar to Brad Pitt comes up to you and introduces himself as “William,” chances are it’s actually Brad Pitt.
I mean, when you’re Brad-freaking-Pitt and have married the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie (a hit to any confident woman’s ego), you can’t blame the guy for trying to hide his identity from potential dates. Unfortunately for Brad, he’s not fooling anyone.
Born William Bradley Pitt, the Fight Club star was recently spotted at a Coffee Commissary in Los Angeles flirting with a woman named Lydia. Page Six reported that the woman was overly bubbly and a dead ringer for Kate Bosworth. The 54-year-old actor was seen trying to strike up a conversation with Lydia, who was standing in line, and sources say that after she introduced herself to Brad he put out his hand and said, “Hi, I’m William.”
The Kate Bosworth lookalike then cheekily responded, “Oh, you look like a Bradley.” Sources say Brad Pitt smiled and winked at her, and said: “Well, that’s my middle name.” Sources say that Lydia said “Nice to meet you, Bradley… I mean William,” before walking out and Brad was spotted laughing to himself before getting on his bike.
Last month, People magazine reported that the “Sexiest Man Of The Year” was in better spirits since his split from actress and activist Angelina Jolie in 2016. Sources say the divorce is becoming a positive catalyst towards change in the World War Z actor’s life, and that the relationship between Brad and his ex-wife has improved, with the two working out time for the actor to see their children. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie share six children together, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Brad has stated: “Kids are everything. Kids are your life. They’re taking all the focus, as they should anyway.”
In an interview with GQ back in May, the actor spoke about his healthy lifestyle changes and how the divorce forced him to clean up his act. Sources told People magazine: “In a sense, this split was good for Brad because he sized himself up and realized there had to be changes.” He even admitted to his struggle with addiction in the lengthy interview, saying: “I was boozing too much. It’s just become a problem. And I’m really happy it’s been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again.”
People magazine also reported that Brad Pitt was beginning to “casually date.” The 54-year-old actor has been spotted “enjoying late nights” with Jennifer Lawrence (who broke up with her boyfriend, Mother! director Darren Aronofsky, after 1 year of dating), and reportedly had his eye on 21-year-old actress Ella Purnell, who played the teenage version of Angelina Jolie in Maleficent. There were rumors he had a fling with Kate Hudson (which the actress laughed off in interviews), and he’s also been linked to Sienna Miller.
Even with gossip pages running off name after name of any actress Brad has been seen and not been seen with, none have been confirmed and almost all rumored relationships have been disputed or quickly squashed. Pitt himself made no mention of wanting to date in his GQ interview, saying “For me, this period has really been about looking at my weaknesses and failures and owning my side of the street.” Doesn’t sound like a man jumping at the opportunity to fill the Angelina Jolie-shaped void in his life right now.
Aside from self-improvement and navigating his new life as a single dad, it looks like the other focus in Brad Pitt’s (or should I say William’s?) life right now is his career. The actor announced a sequel to World War Z is in the works and the actor just finished wrapping up filming for his upcoming sci-fi film Ad Astra, to be released in 2019.
