12 Warning Signs That You Are Dealing With A Person Who Is Evil

Brother Of The Las Vegas Gunman Has Been Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

On Wednesday, the brother of the Las Vegas shooter who killed 58 people and injured over 500 others was arrested in Los Angeles on child pornography charges. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Bruce Paddock, 59, was accused of possessing over 600 images of child pornography. He is now facing 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

His older brother, Stephen Paddock, was responsible for the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history after he shot at a crowd of over 22,000 concertgoers from his hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. It has been nearly a month after the shooting and authorities are still struggling to find a motive behind the gunman’s deadly actions. Police have questioned both Paddock’s family and his girlfriend.

As for Bruce Paddock, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department has stated that his arrest is in no way connected to the ongoing investigation into the Las Vegas mass shooting. Sandra Breault, a spokeswoman for the FBI’s office in Las Vegas declined to comment after his arrest on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Police Department started investigating after police found evidence at a business where 59-year-old Bruce Paddock was unlawfully inhabiting.

The evidence was discovered after he was evicted from the Sun Valley business. The search turned up the images. At the time, investigators were unable to locate Paddock because he was homeless. Detectives provided a photo of Bruce Paddock and they also asked for the public’s assistance in locating him.

After finding him in a nursing facility in Valley Village on Wednesday—a community that sits just south of North Hollywood—police took him into custody.

Paddock was booked and is being held at the Los Angeles Police Department Metropolitan Detention Center. His bail is set at $60,000. The LAPD is asking anyone with information about this crime to contact the Juvenile Division ICAC.
