There’s going to be three types of people that read this article, all of which will resonate with these retail struggles in their own way:
If you’re a retail employee or have been one, we want to thank you for your good service and let you know we understand the struggle is real.
However, if you’re a customer who has never worked in the industry, we need you to understand that the struggle is in fact beyond real. But don’t take our word for it, keep reading and see for yourself.
1. This is a classic. Just when you’re getting ready to close and go home, someone walks in the door and ruins your life.
2. What is it with customers that think threatening with never coming back is punishing us? Anything that means we won’t deal with them again sounds pretty awesome to us.
3. It’s like a different person to be honest. You don’t recognize the voice nor do you want to.
4. Every. Single. Time. Unfortunately, the answer is always ‘yes’ so we get up and try to make the best out of our day.
