Fans Of Melanie Martinez Are Burning And Ripping Her Merch After She Was Accused Of Rape

Melanie Adele Martinez is a 22 year old American singer, songwriter, music video director and also photographer. Born and raised in New York on Long Island she appeared in front of a massive audience in 2012 during her debut on the American television vocal talent show known as The Voice.

But it was recent allegations made against Melanie that has many fans angered and upset at her.

Melanie was accused by another female singer, Timothy Heller, of sexual assault.

Timothy is the former band member of Dresses and she took to her social media to share her story. She wrote: ‘accepting that my best friend raped me seems insane.’

She continued on by saying that Melanie pressured her to have sex despite her constant pleas that she had a boyfriend.

Then Timothy alleged that Melanie convinced her to smoke marijuana and then forced herself onto her both orally and with a sex toy. However, Timothy did not specify when this incident occurred.

She wrote: ‘I never said yes. I said no, repeatedly but she used her power over me, and broke me down. Just so there is no confusion, I was molested by my best friend.’ She said that the recent outpouring of celebrities who have come forth with their own allegations of sexual assault have emboldened her to speak out for herself.
