Eminem Credits Jim Carrey With ‘Basically’ Writing One Of His Greatest Albums

For the 15th anniversary of the album, Eminem went on Instagram to describe his insight into how the album was created.

He said that Jim ‘basically wrote’ The Eminem Show due to the actor’s comedy-drama The Truman Show.

In the post, Eminem wrote: ‘The concept for The Eminem Show was inspired by The Truman Show because my life felt like it was becoming a circus at that time and I felt like I was always being watched.’
