Eminem Looks Completely Different With Facial Hair

#8 The Boombox The Boombox

For all the years we’ve known and loved Eminem, we don’t think we’ve ever seen him change up his look drastically. Yes, he’s gone back and forth between the blonde and brunette look, but for the most part, he’s been pretty consistent.

Let’s face it. When you think of Eminem, you think of buzzed hair, yellow blonde or ash-blonde and clean shaven. In fact, we can’t imagine him not being clean shaven, until now. In recent photos, he’s looking scruffy.

The music legend debuted some dark facial hair on his latest Instagram post on Friday, June 23rd and he looks completely different. The photo was captioned “just a couple of guys from Compton and one from Detroit. With a beard. #thedefiantones”

The photo is of himself with Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar at the L.A. premiere of HBO’s The Defiant Ones.

According to US Magazine, Eminem was almost unrecognizable without his signature peroxide blonde buzz and a clean-shaven face.

But regardless if you like it or not, his followers seem to approve of his new look. One fan commented “Loving the unshaven Em xx”

Another fan added, “So cute with the beard.” The recent outing marked a rare appearance for the rapper.

He has worked closely with Dr. Dre throughout his entire career. Variety reports that Eminem skipped the red carpet at the event but made sure to hang out with his colleagues.

The Defiant Ones is a four-part documentary about Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine’s partnership. It also includes Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani and Bruce Springsteen.

According to People, even though the rapper made a point of highlighting his brand new beauty look, there wasn’t much of a need for it. The twitter world quickly took note and started weighing in.

Just like on Instagram, the people on Twitter were loving the new look, but there were some who missed the real slim-shady. I guess they just don’t like change!
