Most of us that live in cities big enough to have a subway are pretty desensitized to the things that occur during our commutes. Thanks to things like:
We never have to acknowledge any of the hundreds of human beings that we pass by on our subway commutes. And let’s be honest, we have all had a crazy person get on the subway and we just tune it out.
One comedian though, Scott Rogowsky, used one of the three things we mentioned people use to shield themselves from others to capture people's attention on the subway. These photos were all taken on the New York City subway which is where he does his little social experiments.
Scott, occasionally accompanied by a friend, comes up with hilarious and very fake book covers like this one. Cooking is one of the simple joys in life.
Of course everyone else on the subway doesn't realize these are fake books, they just see someone reading something super unusual.
When people noticed the various book covers, some could not help but document whatever it was he was reading.
In this day and age, this book on getting your toddler 'Tinder ready' doesn't even seem that far-fetched. It seems like something you would see on The New York Times Bestselling list.
