Three Girls Are Brutally Murdered In A Maryland Home

Three girls under the age of 10 have been brutally killed in a suburban home outside of Washington, D.C according to reports. They were found after the mother of one of the children arrived at the Clinton, Maryland, home on Friday morning, August 18th. She immediately called the police. According to NY Daily News, police claim that these slayings were “one of the most difficult scenes” they have come across.

Just a few days later, reported that a 25-year-old man has confessed to murdering his six-year-old sister and two young cousins in their beds. Police Captain Anthony Schartner said at a press conference that “we have many answers, but unfortunately we don’t have all of them at this point”. A two-year-old was found inside the home as well but remained unharmed according to Washington Post. Williams has been arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of his sister and cousins.

Investigators are interviewing family members. NY Daily News reports that although neighbors are shocked by what has happened and have expressed fear for their own kids, police believe that this particular violence was confined to the home. Williams was left alone by his mother, Andrena Kelly, to babysit the girls while she worked an overnight shift. She arrived home to find the girls in a basement bedroom suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to

Reports note that Williams remained in the home after he killed the little girls and was taken to the police station where he was offered a full confession. also adds that counselors were brought to the site in order to assist first responding officers with the disturbing discovery. All three kids were pronounced dead by firefighters.
