John Joseph Nicholson, commonly known as Jack Nicholson, is a famous American actor and filmmaker. But nowadays he is more known for sporting a beer while sitting courtside at a Lakers game. From the heydays of the Big Diesel and a young Kobe to Pau Gasol, Jack has seen the evolution and dynasty that is the Los Angeles Lakers. He has been in the movie industry for over 60 years and has done a wide range of roles including starring and supporting.
From satire to horror to romance to comedy, Jack Nicholson has performed and excelled at a wide variety of roles.
But his son, Ray Nicholson, not only has an uncanny resemblance to his father but also to another superstar celebrity.
As the most nominated actor for the Academy Awards in history, it is no surprise that Jack Nicholson is a popular and well-loved figure.
He has won the Academy Award for Best Actor TWICE, and one for Best Supporting Actor.
Jack won his first Academy Award for his role in the 1975 movie, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
He is also one of merely three male actors to have won three Academy Awards. Besides Academy Awards, Jack has also compiled six Golden Globe Awards.
But Jack’s 25-year-old son, Ray Nicholson, not only has an uncanny resemblance to his father, but he also looks a lot like Leonardo DiCaprio.
Despite the similarities to Leo, Ray is trying to carve out his own niche in the movie industry with supporting roles and gigs as an assistant director.
Ray Nicholson who was born on February 20 in 1992 in Los Angeles, California is an actor and assistant director and the younger half-brother of Jennifer Nicholson, Honey Hollman and Caleb Goddard
He is known for his influence and roles in The Benchwarmers, Ten Cups, and A Reunion. He most recently served as an assistant director on A Reunion.
Besides the physical similarities, the two also share a love and adoration for the Los Angeles Lakers. They are regularly seen and photographed courtside watching their favorite team duke it out.
At a Lakers game with his dad, Ray was seen donning a hat and some scruff on his chin. Contrast that to a picture of Leo at a Lakers game and one can hardly tell the difference.
The 78-year-old’s son with actress Rebecca Broussard looks a lot like his father with the unique eyebrows and the glowing smile.
As Jack’s youngest son, and despite the age gap, the two remain extremely close and share some similar personality traits as well.
The two were last seen at the 6th annual Apollo in the Hampton’s event that was held at Ron Perelman’s East Hampton estate known as The Creeks.
The celebrity-filled fundraiser was intended to raise proceeds for the Apollo Theater in New York City.
This annual event showcased live musical performances which attracted a multitude of celebrities such as Matt Lauer, Jimmy Fallon, Christina Aguilera and Mary-Kate Olsen just to name a few.
Who knows? Maybe Ray Nicholson’s resemblance to the two superstars in the movie industry will help him achieve some of his dad’s and Leo’s ridiculous fame and fortune.
