Apparently, the 23-year-old Canadian pop star, Justin Bieber, and Marilyn Manson were embroiled in some sort of a t-shirt feud. Allegedly, Bieber used a picture of Marilyn Manson on his 2016 Purpose Tour T-shirt that Manson did not sign off on. The tour shirt, which cost just under two hundred dollars, had a picture of Manson on the back with the phrase ‘bigger than Satan… Bieber’ embroidered on the back.
Things only escalated from there when Manson alleged in a Howard Stern interview that when the pair first met, Justin said: ‘I made you relevant again.’
That’s when then 48 year old decided to bare all and let Howard Stern read his text message exchange with the Biebz.
The drama all revolves around the t-shirt that was used for Justin’s tour. The shirt, which was designed by Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo was purportedly created with Manson’s permission.
However, Manson denied doing such a thing and was dismayed and irritated when he saw Bieber wear that shirt the first time they met.
Marilyn Manson said that since his public outrage with Justin Bieber and his outright saying that he’s a ‘piece of s—,’ Manson has received an apology from Justin.
Apparently, Justin had reached out after the public spat and wanted to air things out.
The message read: ‘I thought we had a pretty pleasant interaction.’
‘Also, if anything wasn’t squared away with the T-shirts, I’m so sorry. Anyway, regardless, it kind of stung seeing that I came off as an assh— or even just was an assh—, I’m sorry?’
And it seems like the pair worked things out since Marilyn responded by saying: ‘we are cool. People just made that shirt stuff into a fake feud. Let’s turn it upside down and f— the press and do something together. It will be the best. And don’t apologize. You weren’t an assh—. They asked if you were and I sort of agreed. I wasn’t out to get you. If not, I’ll try to avoid more questions today on Stern.’
He finished off his interview with Howard Stern with: ‘he sassed me and he apologized, and I said I wouldn’t s— talk him, so I’m not going to s— talk him.’
