Owen Lima went into a job interview at Lowe’s home improvement store expecting the same rejection he gets whenever he explains he suffers from a brain injury that requires him to have a service dog with him at all times.

However, he was pleasantly surprised when the store manager told him that not only were they going to hire him, but they were going to give Blue, his dog, a special job as well--one one condition though: the dog needs to wear his own little vest, just like every other employee.

Paul Gallo, the store manager reassured Owen that he was an asset to the company because of what he knew how to do, and his past didn’t matter to them. ‘We don’t care about your past,’ he told Owen, as reported by CBS News.

Blue is equally as excited as his owner about the news, as he gets to greet customers and help Owen when things get overwhelming--especially because he can sometimes have a hard time understanding people if they talk fast.
