Scientists Discover Something Massive Moving Inside The Earth's Core

The groundbreaking study, which was published in 'Nature Geoscience', reveals a jet stream of liquid iron which flows west 3000 km below the surface of the Earth.

The measurements were discovered by Europe’s Swarm satellites which are used to map the magnetic field surrounding the Earth. The liquid metal is extremely dense and also uses a huge amount of energy to move around.
