Warning Signs Someone Is A High-Functioning Alcoholic

Seth Rogen’s Mom Embarrassed Him On Twitter And People Can’t Stop Cracking Up

Whether it be a celebrity, a sports superstar or just your average Joe, most of us tend to not have our parents on social media because we’re afraid of being embarrassed by them. But Seth Rogen, the 36-year-old Canadian actor, was apparently unaware of this unspoken rule. Seth Rogen’s mom is named Sandy and the mother of one has been known to make some interesting statements on Twitter. Whether it is to promote her son’s movies or to brag about her sex life, Sandy has basically no filter. Sandy once tweeted: ‘falling asleep after sex is like Shavasana after yoga.’ She’s even been known to applaud her son’s joint-rolling skills.

However, it is a tweet from Sandy on May 7 that quickly went viral. To her more than 59,000 followers she posed this question: ‘in yoga when you can see the very private parts of the woman in front of you through her pants, should you tell her? Maybe the person behind me can see the outline of my private parts. Dilemma.’

That tweet was liked more than 32,000 times and has been commented on nearly three thousand times. The star of Superbad and Pineapple Express quickly chimed in with a mortified comment on his mom’s tweet. He simply wrote: ‘Jesus mom.’ Sandy didn’t stop there, she continued in her defense of the tweet. The mother wrote: ‘well it was real and I wonder if she really would have wanted her ‘hoo hoo’ so obvious.’

Not only is it hilarious that Sandy would post such a comedic thought to her thousands of followers but what’s funnier is that she refers to a female’s nether regions as a ‘hoo hoo.’ Despite the tweets, Seth had to have the last tweet and simply typed ‘MOM!’ But things didn’t just end there as Sandy had to tweet back ‘WHAT?!?!?!’

However, many of Sandy’s followers chimed in her defense and even gave some reasonable answers to the question she posed. Rob Fee wrote: ‘I think an ambiguous hoo hoo is actually worse,’ while Mindful Magpie wrote: ‘in my opinion [it is] better than being able to see the private parts of a man in front of you at yoga.’

It was in October of last year when Sandy took to Twitter to look for her son. She tweeted: ‘Seth Rogen, where are you?’ And in typical Seth Rogen comedic fashion, Seth retweeted that tweet with the caption ‘when you don’t answer your mom’s phone calls for a day.’ And as reported by US Magazine, in 2012, Seth revealed that his mother is very similar to Barbara Streisand’s character in Meet the Fockers. During an interview in 2012, he said: ‘my mom was a social worker and talks about sex way too much! She will literally post on her Facebook about pap smears she just got.’

Twitter user Shay summed up their relationship with this tweet: ‘best mom/son relationship ever.’ And in an article published by US Magazine, Seth said: ‘I have a good relationship with her. I see my parents a lot.’ And then in an interview with Howard Stern, the native of Vancouver admitted that he becomes a kid once again whenever he is around his parents. ‘They just ask a lot of questions, It’s overbearing.’
