Shia LaBeouf Freestyles On ‘Sway in the Morning’ And He Destroyed It

Whether you grew up watching “Even Stevens” on the Disney Channel or the “Transformers” films in theaters, chances are that you’re familiar with a little guy named Shia Labeouf.  The “Holes” star dropped by the radio station, Sway’s Universe, to take part in the “5 Fingers of Death” challenge which impressed listeners with his sweet rhymes.

Fans of the actor know that Labeouf is a big fan of rap. Just take a look at his knees. The 30-year-old actor has a few tattoos of his favorite MCs and performers inked all over his body. Some of these artists include Missy Elliot, Prince, Dr. Dre, Tupac, and The Notorious B.I.G.  “It’s people I love,” he said in an interview on “The Ellen Show”.

The actor dropped by Sway’s Universe for a quick interview and listeners were blessed to hear him drop some sweet bars. The host of the show played some beats by some of Labeouf’s music idols and it was the actors duty to rap over them. If you don’t have time to wait around, we suggest you fast forward to the 1:45 minute mark. Get ready for some impressive rhymes.

“Shia LaBeouf is outrapping some full time rappers!! Who knew? This major Hollywood actor came by Sway in the Morning just to casually kill our 5 Fingers of Death,” the YouTube channel wrote in their description box.

“Get ready, get set, this is me,” Shia begins. “This is wild. This a childhood dream.” While the guest spits his freestyle, the host is seen standing on the side and smiling from ear to eat. It’s clear that this guy is digging what Shia’s dishing.

As soon as Shia finishes his rap, he knocks over the mic and throws off his headphones. The people in the room chant his name and the host gets more pumped than ever before. In fact, he and Shia even start to talk a bit of trash about rappers in the industry.

But it’s all in good fun so don’t get too offended by their words. The video doesn’t end there. After Shia’s finished with his freestyle, the host brings in his competitor – Oswin Benjamin. Be sure to watch the video below to see the entire rap battle.
