Game Of Thrones Theory About Jorah Could Be A Real Game Changer

Independent The Independent

In case you haven’t noticed, the internet seems to be all over the new season of Game of Thrones. There have only been only two episodes so far from Season 7, but people are seriously on top of things. This includes potential spoilers.

Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Reddit or even Instagram, everyone is starting to talk about different theories that they have about the characters, story lines and just the show in general. If you don’t like it, you should start getting used to it!

After watching Episode 2, it’s clear that Sam is trying to cure Jorah of greyscale. That was hinted to us from episode 1 when Sam was reading a book on how to cure gray scale and we saw that Jorah was locked in a cell.

But Reddit user ‘redragebar’ went a step further and decided to discuss what’ll happen if or when Same cures Jorah.

‘Redragebar’ predicts that once Jorah is cured by Sam, he’ll try to travel to Valyria to uncover secrets of Valyrian Steel.

The reason he’ll be able to do this is that he’ll be immune to greyscale. So you’re probably wondering what this has to do with anything.

Well, actually it’s a huge deal. Valyrian Steel is one of the only substances, other than Dragonglass, that has the ability to kill White Walkers.

The Reddit user wrote, “Sam leaves for the Ruins of Valyria to search for information about the creation of Valyrian steel. He read about the Doom of Valyria and in the process finds the cure for Greyscale.”

He continued, writing “A maester seems to have known something already via Shireen. He meets Jorah, not quite fully consumed yet, and helps to cure him.”

Sorry for the spoilers, but this theory is too good to not share. There are some inaccuracies in this user’s prediction because he wrote it before season 7 was starting.

So ‘Redragebar’ didn’t realize that Jorah would end up where he did so quickly. But the potential that Jorah could end up being the most important person in the show makes sense.
