Tim Cook’s Letter To Apple Employees About Charlottesville Violence Is Leaked Online

Always ahead of the curve, Apple CEO Tim Cook made it crystal clear where he stands against the latest resurgence of white supremacy in the USA. In the aftermath of the chaotic events in Charlottesville, VA, Cook addressed his employees in a leaked letter online that explains where Apple Inc stands on equality, how hate is a ‘cancer’ and that it has no place in their company.

Cook reassures his employees that Apple does not, and will not stand for this kind of intolerance. He expresses that Apple has always been a leader in innovation and that it will continue to strive to be a source of positive change.

After the horrific events in Charlottesville, Cook reassures his employees that Apple is committed to helping organizations rid this type of hate from the county. The letter states that the company will be matching employee donations, as well as making it easier for its customers to donate to the cause.

Tim Cook encourages the employees of Apple to stand together, regardless of political views, and that all people are created equal.

Cook does not beat around the bush on his disagreement with the President, saying “I disagree with the president and others who believe that there is a moral equivalence between white supremacists and Nazis, and those who oppose them by standing up for human rights.” Cook then explains that comparing the two groups is thoroughly Un-American.
