Truck Pulls Tree Out Of The Ground Along With It’s Roots, Ending Was Unpredictable

Trucks are known for their great power and brute strength. But some people might overestimate the power that their truck actually has and do some silly things.

This may or may not be the case for the truck owner in this video. It seems simple enough at first, although a bit odd. You see a Dodge truck sitting in a yard with a rope attached to the end of it. The other end of the rope is attached to a massive tree. The trunk is double the size of an average human being, and it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere. The video will have you believe that the truck will be pulling the tree out of the ground, but watch it until the end and you may be surprised.

The video starts off with the truck revving. Then, the driver yells out “Ready!” which would make any viewer grow concerned at what these people are about to do.  “Pull the tree down,” says the lady filming the scene. As the anxiety mounts, the driver says “when this thing comes down you run that way!”

Things start to get super intense when the truck starts to rev even more and it slowly begins to inch away from the tree. “It’s coming,” the lady yells, and as you grit your teeth in preparation for the massive tree to fall down and crush the car, the Dodge pulls away, dragging a small plant behind it.

The outcome is so anti-climactic and so unexpected that it’s actually hilarious. All you see is the massive truck dragging a tiny little plant behind it, while the driver and the lady behind the camera cry out in hysterics.

I won’t lie, I was definitely fooled, thinking that it was just another one of those classic fail videos. I was wondering how much damage there would be to the car and was genuinely worried about the person driving the truck.

The video has over 5 million views and counting, and despite the fact that the outcome is not what most people expected, it is admittedly hilarious and a nice getaway from the silly fail videos that we’re used to seeing on Youtube.
