Irene Crump and Phyllis Jones are twin sisters from the town of Stourport-on-Severn, England, who just celebrated their 100th birthday.
The twins were born 25 minutes apart on November 20,1916. Phyllis is the older sister, and Irene is the younger sibling.
The two sisters have shared an inseparable bond ever since they were born. They attended the same schools and worked at the same ceramics company. Today, the twins even share a house together.
Irene and Phyllis, or Rene and Phil as their friends and family call them, are fraternal twins. Unlike identical twins, fraternal twins may or may not share physical traits.
In Irene and Phyllis's case, they have different looks and personalities. Rene is the calm and rational one, and Phil is the restless one with the young, youthful spirit.
The twins had partners who passed away in their 90s, and a sister who passed in her 90s; Irene’s husband Samuel and Phyllis’s partner Ray.
Irene didn’t have children, but Phyllis has a son named Carl who looks after both his mother and aunt. Carl and his wife Patricia visit the twins every day.
