In a recent Instagram post, Tyrese Gibson may have taken his feud with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson past the point of no return.
The post has Tyrese threatening to leave the series if The Rock is in Fast 9, calling The Rock a “Clown,” and stating that if “you mess with family and my daughters[sic] survival I mess with yours.”
Gibson also seems to accuse The Rock’s physique of not being natural, with the hashtags: “#NoJuice #NoOJ.”
So far, The Rock has not made any public response to Gibson’s post.
The spin-off will push back the production of Fast 9 by one year. It is this point that seems to have drawn the most ire from Gibson.
After Universal confirmed the rumors about the spin-off movie this fall, Gibson wrote in another Instagram post: “Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU.”
Since the post went viral, Tyrese tweeted out that the two Fast stars had a “Heart to Heart,” and that he will no longer be making any more posts about his famous co-star.

This isn’t the first time there has been some drama surrounding the cast of the Fast franchise, as The Rock shared a slightly cryptic post on Instagram before the release of the eighth film saying: “There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one.”
The Rock’s post went on to say: “My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ‘em. My male co-workers, however, are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s–t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a—s.”
There was much speculation about whom the Rock was referring to with the post. The Rock has not called anyone out publicly by name.
What this means for the future of the Fast franchise has yet to be seen. Gibson has been a part of the franchise since 2003’s 2 Fast 2 Furious. One can only hope that Gibson’s recent post means the two actors have found an amicable solution.
