Carrie Underwood Shared A Photo Showing How Badly She Was Injured When She Fell Outside Her House

All you Carrie Underwood fans have probably been wondering where she’s been these past few months. She hasn’t made any appearances lately. And she hasn’t performed in quite some time either. What’s been going on? A lot apparently.

Back in November 2017, the country star fell outside her home, and it was serious. The fall resulted in a broken wrist and injuries to her face. No one really had an idea of how bad it truly was until the singer posted a recent photo.

She took to her Instagram and shared an image of an x-ray of her wrist that shows the extent of her injury…and let’s just say it looks REALLY painful. On her post, she wrote, “Last check up on the old wrist this morning!!”. She continued, writing “Thanks, Dr. Wurth and my PT angel, Renee, a.k.a. ‘Bulldog’ for fixing me up!!!! I’m good to go!”

If you look closely at the photo, you can tell that there’s actually a piece of hardware that’s keeping the singer’s wrist attached to her hand…ouch!

Underwood’s fans wasted no time to comment on the photo, showing their love and support and wishing her a speedy recovery. I’m sure their words really did a lot for Carrie, who was in a ton of pain from her reportedly serious fall.

One fan commented, “Wow! That’s a lot of metal! Best wishes for a complete recovery. Come to Hammond, La!!”. Another wrote, “I read about your accident and I am so happy that you are okay and healing. God is good!”

After her surgery, Underwood turned to Twitter, writing “I just wanted let everyone know that I’m doing great. Had surgery on my wrist yesterday and all went well…even though I’ll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on…I’m so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family and friends who’ve been taking such great care of me”.
